First real good day winning wise on the pharm is sometime, a 5-0 day with GCL leading 4-0 in a rain suspended game. And while I understand its about the prospects, I still think winning is important, especially at the higher levels as players need to develop good habits, which often leads to winning.
It has been a frustrating July offensively, thats for sure. The organization seems to have taken a giant leap forward when it comes to pitching development but the hitters for the most part have regressed. It certainly could be due to several factors [fatigue, injury, bad luck] but it would be nice if some of our more promising hitting prospects like Moniak, Haseley, Alfaro, Cozens and Randolph finished well in August.
That said, it was a good month for Hoskins, Kingery, Randolph and Hall.
