I don’t want to get into too much, but there isn’t a desire for Crawford to be a bust or to be right. There is an acknowledgment that what Crawford is currently doing will not be successful and that he has the physical tools to be good he just needs to make changes to be successful. If it were as simple as succeeding in the minors to be good we would just need triple slash lines and we could eliminate scouts and analytics department.

Brief note from Keith Law here on Miller. The game he saw at Reading had no offense, but he does like Miller's defense more than most. 60 grade arm would be better than either Turner or Stott and would make up for more modest range potentially.

Matt highlighted Romeli Espinosa in his DSL preview. BA put up the team by team review and also highlighted Espinosa and signing bonus of $250k.

BA listed 17 year old RHP Geremy Villoria, (good strong and projectable build, good arm parh, up to 95 with high spin slider) as one of 20 pitching prospects to watch in the DSL

Also noted 17 yr old OF Dayber Cruceta as a potential dsl breakout prospect- I presume because of a good spring.

If nothing else it seems like a better class than the year prior.
