I enjoyed hearing updates from Les and olgrandad, both of whom I've exchanged messages with over the years. I even got to see Les in Clearwater a few years ago. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting olgrandad, but I did buy one of his books for my brother, a jazz aficionado who liked it very much.
