Just curious, and not trying to make more of this than it is...is it possible that the Mets have found a way to steal Phillie pitching signs? They simply hit more home runs against the Phils than seems almost numerically possible, it truly is incredible. And its been going on for a couple of years now.
Not suggesting they are cheating, not even close. Merely wondering if they have someone in their dugout who has found a way to steal Phillie catchers signs. No team in baseball has tortured Phillie pitching with home runs like the Mets have, not the Nats, not the Cubs, not the 27 Yankees.
Just curious if anyone else wonders about this. This much I know...a pretty much inept Met team becomes the '86 Mets against the Phils every series.
