Lazar had been looking pretty good until that disastrous outing. It is good to see him pitch the scoreless ninth tonight. The lead off hit did have me concerned, but he got the next three and no damage done.
Walker pitching well is a real plus for the team. If they don't see him in their plans next season, he may build up some trade value. They may want to keep him for rotation insurance/depth.
A shout out to Kepler for his double and homer early in the game. A solid win and another series win.
