Nearly lost the game with that one, too. But it looks like his management technique. Especially with pitchers that pitch into trouble. As if to make a statement/challenge to the pitcher/player: you're a pro, you've proven to us what you can do, so get out there and do it, reach back and get your second wind. High failure rate with it, too. Will be gone when the playoffs arrive.
Nola looks like he is regaining his chops. Not nearly as good yesterday as in his previous outing, missing a lot of close calls, but facing a better team.
The Phils seem to bring out the best in AZ. First became painfully aware of Pfaadt in the recent playoffs. Tough then and still plenty tough today.
