The difference between a hit and a double play is often placement. Where the ground ball is hit and where the fielders are positioned. Jones got a hit instead of a double play. Luckily, the double play came later in the inning.
Years ago, I loved seeing the Phillies on national TV. Now, I hate it. Then, the choice was a national game or nothing. Now, I can't get the Phillies' TV team and really do not enjoy the national crews.
