Luzardo was really just mad at himself. He hit the first batter in that inning, then blamed the ump for his walk even though Balls 1 and 2 were nowhere near the zone. Obviously the first inning was also still in his head.
I found this all interesting. What actually constitutes a successful strand rate for a relief pitcher who inherits a lot of runners? Obviously there's also no shame in losing the battle to Alonso, it was the rest of it that stunk. And I'm guessing Robertson just isn't supposed to pitch two days in row yet.

The Phils turned to their designated fireman, Orion Kerkering. No Phillies reliever has inherited more runners this season than Kerkering. But this was only the second time that he had entered a game before the sixth inning, part of a premeditated plan from Thomson, who informed Kerkering of the possibility before the game.
âWe wanted to try our best to stay away from David Robertson,â Thomson said. âWe have a bunch of guys who could be down tomorrow, so that was kind of the plan, to have him come in and kill an inning for us. That didnât happen.â
