I have read many posts saying to release Romano and I thought to myself, it won't happen. But now I'm not really that sure that he won't be released. Certainly, if they need a roster spot, he would be a logical choice.

Signing a relief pitcher who spent the year on the IL would have helped the team more than the Romano signing.
