Ball Dietrich hit by pitch
A walk turns two home runs into three runs.
Where was the right fielder on that play? I was watching but saw no Phillie player anywhere near the ball after it bounded off the wall toward right field.
I will be happy to see Herrera back in center and Williams back to a corner slot.
Kim. Release him tonight.
Realmuto wasn't even running until he got to 1B.

Bottom of the 6th
Steckenrider relieved Tazawa.
Therrien doesn't really have any command of any of his pitches. He has good stuff and he generally throws strikes, but he can't hit spots with it, and given enough pitches he's going to leave a few where they're going to get thumped. He's another guy who really should be in AAA.
Fr those not watching the telecast... todays trivia question was.. who was the last Marlin to hit an inside the park HR. .... The answer, which was answered about 2 batters before Realmuto came up, was JT Realmuto in 2015. Thats just amazing.
Cesar Hernandez
Ball Hernández lined out to center
This is where the Phillies usually pack away the bats and lose going away. Blow a 5 run lead in two innings. Start leaving runners on base, like first and third, one out, in the bottom of the fifth.
I hope that will not be the case today.
this feels like one of those 1 run games that CD talks about where they aren't won so much as they are lost

Back to back innings with RISP and one out. Total of ZERO runs. A recipe for defeat.
The best part of this is that the announcers were talking about Hoskins and how this will be his rookie year and so he wont really ever have a chance at a ROY award. Apparently Tommy heard them because this is about as sweet of a swing you will ever see for a HR, it was a completely flat swing on a pitch in the lower half of the plate and the moment it made contact it was clearly gone.
"Not so fast guys... I am not just giving him my spot"
