Got scary but a good win to tie up the series. Duran living his splinter up in the zone a bit the last two games.

I think only one of the four hits off Duran the last two nights were hard hit, 3 seeing eye GBs down the lines.
Though he came out throwing heat tonight.
It does show you the limts of velocity, hitters are actually getting wood on 102 MPH FBs.
Maybe he should talk to Wheeler how to make your FB invisible.

Nola should go into playoffs rested and strong (for the first time, ever?)

Let's hope. Still need to see more from him but (as The Athletic story today points out) the rotation would otherwise be all-lefty, which might not be optimal even in NLDS. I think Walker is still a candidate (if they want Luzardo in the pen) too. Probably will be some very aggressive managing as well, a la Ranger's starts in '23, with only Sanchez likely to be a default six or seven-inning guy.
