Yeah I forgot that the Wheeler injury changed the math, his roster spot is safe for now, and probably past 9/1 too when they can just bring Lazar back. And then if they need to DFA him he'd probably want to accept assignment to minors because he wouldn't be able to pitch for another team in the playoffs.
Lazar/Johnson or Romano probably still not needed in early playoff rounds anyway unless the presumed NLCS Game 4 starter simply isn't rostered. Walker and Ross should be plenty for the lower-leverage/long spots, unless Walker is starting. The problem with Romano is he pretty consistenty shows up for 3-4 games and then blows up.
