Touched off top of Franco's glove which slowed it down as it went into left field. Galvis raced to get the ball and threw from seated position to Hernandez, but he didn't come up with the ball cleanly, allowing runner to slide safely into second.
It looked like Galvis took two steps to one for Hoskins as both went for the ball in left field. I may be wrong, but my first glace told me that Hoskins was closer to the ball than Galvis, but Galvis got to it as Hoskins was still several steps away.
