Interestingly... Beato has appeared in one prior ML game, on June 18, 2014 - pitching for the Braves, against the Phils. On the following day (per LA), he went on the DL. When he came off the DL, he was outrighted.

Shame he gets another ML chance and ends up hurt after two outs. I don't see it as a big hit for the Phillies, but feel sorry for the player.

If Beato needs to be DL'ed, the Phils could immediately recall Ricardo Pinto - the 10-day rule is suspended if a player is needed to replace a DL'ed player.
