Luzardo is a puzzle. High highs and lows lows. Can he pitch in relief if he can't pitch with men on base? Are we sure there's nothing physical? If it's still mechanical and tipping pitches should he go to AAA to fix it? He's already at his second-highest innings in his career and he wasn't any good once he reached 100 in 2023 either.
He's already almost certain to go to the pen in the playoffs. Now we wait to find out if Ranger is going to bounce back, and what kind of Nola we get, for the 3 and 4 playoff starters. Right now at this exact moment, with heavy SSS/recency bias, Walker would be our third-best starter if he is stretched out and can actually go six without falling apart [big if, but same with Luzardo and Ranger].
