Can this be a turn around point or the season. Great eleventh inning. Four hits and a walk and no outs. They were not to be stopped.

Another great start from Wheeler. Other than Luzardo’s last two starts, starting pitching has been strong. Get Luzardo back in form and we should have many winnable games. The offense was frustrating against tonight until the 11th, but they were getting men on base. I feel better days coming.

We are now 3-1 agains the Cubs. Already 2-1 against the Dodgers and that was in early April. 0-3 against Mets and Brewers. A lot of this stuff is just random assuming a general baseline of quality and talent. Just get in the playoffs.

Yea, this is one of those odd cases that a DP SHOULD BE an RBI

I think all DPs should get an RBI if a run scores. Think about this.. a player that hits a weak ground ball gets rewarded because the ball was hit too slow to turn the DP. A player that hits a scorching grounder gets punished because he hit it hard enough to turn 2. Plus you are punishing a player for just the fact that he hit a ground ball when a runner was on base.

Bringing Otto Kemp up for his power bat really paid off tonight.

He's got legs, think they should encourage him to play OF in winter ball, ST.
You have to think he can learn to play as well as Wilson.

Of course one should look at the pitcher who throws 101 throwing a slider to Kemp and a relatively low 98 mph fastball to Stott. Kind of like the Cubs wanted the Phillies to bunt.

In that situation you throw fastballs up in the zone. As its been taught for 100+ years.
