It was one of those nights for Pivetta, learning experience.
Morgan showed me something, he's had a mix of experience, arm shoulder problems took his velocity, learned to pitch backwards, then the shoulder came back, 92-93 FB but very hittable, so he goes to the bulpen, jumps to 94-96 and starts thinking he's a FB pitcher and gets pounded. Today he went back to being a junk ball pitcher who can flash 94-96 and keep hitters off balance with a good slider and curve. Still think he needs to learn how to get some movement on his FB, but it's far more effective coming off a 77 MPH curve and 83 MPH slider. He may have a future as a LH RP.
Not so certain about Milner, when you top out at 88-89 you need to be perfect.
Pinto was bringing it, crashed and burned as a starter at Lehigh, but moving to the bullpen seems to allow him to just fire away.
