I didn't really expect that the Phillies would come back, but once they got runners second and third with no outs in the 9th, I expected they would score one or two runs. It is disappointing that they went weakly leaving those RISP at the end of the game.
Record now 31-24, 7 games over .500.
Need a win tomorrow as Velasquez goes against Suarez. Suarez has ERA of 5.65 so the Phillies probably won't be able to do much against him. 
I wish I was kidding, but they always seem to have trouble with pitchers other teams feast upon. Frankly, I am feeling a good game coming tomorrow with a Phillies win.
Kingery had two hits tonight. I think both came with no runners on. I think his outs came with runners on base. Cozens gets his first ML hit. Hernandez goes 1 for 3 with a walk. Leiter pitches his first innings this season and looked good. Arano had a good 8th inning and lowered his ERA to 1.96 for the season.
Overall, not a good game for the Phillies. We again saw some sloppy play in the field and Pivetta was not sharp. Neris got an inning and didn't impress.
