Uehara pitching
Hernandez flies out to right center.
Altherr fouls out to third on first pitch.
Herrera swing on three pitches goes down in one way over his head.
Phillies for down meekly in the 13th.
Rodriguez still pitching.
Almora singles to left. Kelly boots ball and throws softly to second. Ruled a double.Kelly not looking good in left.
Baez hits back to Joely. Holds runner, gets out at first.

And the Phillies lose another one on a Galvis throwing error. Man this has been a brutal road trip.
Szczur grounds to second. Throw to Galvis for out. Throw to first wild. Run scores. Cubs win.
Phillies 4-15-2Cubs 5-13-1
Too many blown opportunities in this one.
Love this team. Hope the homestand brings them some luck.
Once again a close game but another loss.
There are no moral victories in baseball though it should be said that they played both the Dodgers and Cubs tough during this trip.
Yup, which is what I'm taking solace in. That, and I predicted 0-7 on the toad trip, so they beat my expectations.
I'm not sure he gets that double play on a good throw. He should have held it.
I'm with Dirk, the team is pretty fun. There are still very few potential stars here but watching the puzzle of the team's future take shape holds my attention (Lord knows the 2015 team did not). Slumping young players and erratic young relievers just don't bother me, day-to-day. Of course I never thought they were going to win 81 games so I can't really be disappointed. They'll win more at home and (just like last year) they'll win more against the bad teams. Every once in a while they will surprise.
Agree that DP not likely but if he throws one Stassi handles, they hold runner at third. Probably would have been best to not make a throw. After that 6-9-3 DP I had hope fate was with them.
Yup. Oh well....now we face Washington. Again.
We play the Nationals twelve times in the first six weeks of the season and we don't play them again after then until September 7. Meanwhile, we play the Marlins nine times in the last six weeks of the season including two visits by the Fish to CBP in four weeks.
I know....I gotta say, I'd like to see less intra division games.
Has anyone ever seen an explanation of why we have to play division teams so often home and away in a small span of time? Understood we have to play them a lot the way it is now, but why do we play the same teams in a 2 week span while two other division teams are playing each other the same way?
