I guess we knew that hellickson was due for a stinker. against the cubs, with that lineup, no shame in that. lester was "ripe for the picking" and they let him off the hook. saunders, with the bases loaded, swinging at a 2-0 pitch low and outside. he was obviously guessing fastball and then weakly grounding out to first. joseph then with the K, outside the strike zone. and even before that Franco, trying to hit the ball into Lake Michigan, with the K. i don't think he ever saw the ball as his eyes were looking up into the sky. i could have been a much better night against a pretty good pitcher, who might be starting to lose it. but they didn't take advantage. i hope they can win one more here and not lose the series.
