Nice win. Strong effort from Duran to close it out. Is there a more enigmatic pitcher in Phillies history (?) than Luzardo?
Had 'em all the way, Harry!
Nice series win...gotta keep stacking those.
Another series win. Hopefully weâll be back to .500 soon
While I always want to win every game, winning series consistently result in good seasons. On to Pittsburgh and I hope another series win.
Solid pitching again tonight. Another big homer from Schwarber. Great night to be a Phillies phan.
My wife and I are heading out to Pittsburgh for the series. We'll be at Saturday's and Sunday's games. Sunday will be Wheeler vs Skenes.
Recordwise, we've made up almost all the ground we lost during that April swoon. From 2-11 to 12-4.
Dont mean to be negative but playing in Pittsburgh worries me. They cant win for some reason over there no matter how bad Pirates are.
It's true they haven't won a series there since 2022 but I don't think it really means anything in a annual three-game sample. Last year's sweep was a real low point of the season and they didn't even face Skenes (lost two 2-1 games to other pitchers and Romano lost a tie-game in the ninth for the other loss). Now, the Pirates are good enough that the Phillies probably shouldn't win the series, so maybe the luck will change.
Philsâ offense still is sputtering, that puts every game in jeopardy.
