It was good to see Painter with a pretty good start tonight. Red Sox out hit the Phillies, 8-3. Phillies offense struggled tonight and couldn't do much against the Red Sox pitching.
Phillies get the tying runs into scoring position in the ninth, an inning they did not put a ball into play. Harper struck out on a pitch well out of the strike zone and Bohm fouled the first pitch and swung and missed the fourth pitch of his at bat, to end the game with a K. Garcia K'd on 3 pitches on the edges of the zone for the second out.
Only runs tonight came on the home runs. Red Sox had two and the Phillies one.
Series goes to the winner tomorrow.
