The Phillies TV crew commented on Davis not running hard to the plate and not getting there before the tag at second.
They also thought the error on Hernandez was a poor scoring call. I disagree. He should have caught the ball and it didn't look like it was that hard a play. Also, the right fielder could have made the catch fairly easily had Hernandez given way. I don't know that the outfielder called for it though.
Kudos to Nava for taking advantage of his opportunity to play today. Also, kudos to Stassi for the play in the field. I was pretty accustomed to not seeing our first baseman making successful throws to second in the later Howard years. Defense is important, even at first base.
