Hopefully, Wheeler comes back healthy and soon. Walker not an asset at this point, needs to be the 6th starter or long pen guy.

That said, it is hard to sweep a MLB team even if it is the Rockies. We're onto San Francisco

Rockies did take 2 off 3 in Toronto before this series.

Overall, pitching today not really that bad. Four runs on three homers. No offense though makes it hard to win. Phillies take the series, making it two in a row. Need to win the series in San Francisco.

Based on distance yes,, but the thin air probably made it carry 20-30 feet further than it would have in other parks.

Schwarber hit was, of course, affected by the rare air but the wind was pretty steady blowing in toward home plate. Another factoid is that at the Rockies Stadium, the sun in April is in back of home plate. The fielders have a real challenge following the ball in the air. They can look as confused as the Rangers 1st baseman, Burger, tracking the ball. They should do what tennis did and allow a yellow ball for day games?
