The mlb.com standings have each team's record vs >.500 teams (I suppose based on the current records, not when they played them, cause the Nats were over .500 when our series with them started) and none of the first place teams have played any games vs >.500 teams, and only two second place teams have, and only about half the third place teams have.

It's never easy to play in Colorado or out West even if the Giants also seem to stink. This was probably the best possible travel they could have - a day off to adjust at altitude (apparently some of them even played 36 holes) and a much smaller adjustment to Pacific time.

Things get real on the homestand (as well as the Chicago/Atlanta road trip after that).
