Top of the order had a good day today. Of course, it is hard to get stats respectful in one game. I hope good at bats continue.

Nola gives the Phillies a solid start and the lesser relievers finished it off. Combined effort provided 15 Ks of Rockies, against only two walks. I admit to getting a little upset with Pop starting the ninth with a walk, but he then got three Ks to put this game in the win column.

Great day to be a Phan.

Easily on the list of MLB's worst franchises along with the White Sox, Marlins, Angels and, arguably, the Twins, Nationals and Athletics (A's would be on this list if not for their good young core).

Lorenzen seems better at weights than pitching. Guess we'll see about the other starters, but Lorenzen sets a low bar.

Time was when the Rockies were competing and well attended.

Nola showed up. Even against Coors Elementary, this guy really needed to get a W. Looking forward to his next start. Everybody knows how good he is. And everybody know how inconsistent he is.
