My gawd this is bad. But giving up a 3 run homer in the 9th? Time for trip to Allentown for Kerkering.

yes and no.. should have been a 1-2-3 inning if Rojas and Turner did their jobs on defense.

hitting doesn't add additional runs with a runner at 3rd and 1 out
Defense can't catch a fly ball or throw a ball to 1st base from shortstop
relief pitcher can't stop allow batters to hit HR's ....even if they already should have had 4 outs in the inning.

Definitely 2 plays he should have made if you include the Abrams triple which Wheeler got out of the inning unscathed.

Good to be home but the fielding and the relief pitching continue to problematic. But a win is a win. Three in a row now. Another solid start from Wheeler and Turner goes 4 for 4 and was at the plate to be wild pitched to, resulting in the walk off winning run scoring.

Funny part is our 2 defensive goats went 6-7 tonight. Trae with 4 hits and Rojas was 2-3 with a HR

Rojas also drove in the run to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth with a sacrifice fly. Turner was at the plate when Stott scored the winning run on a WP to Turner.
