Walked the route. Stopped. Them jogged down the field. Hurts was trying to find anyone for a long time and he took the play off.

Rust had to be expected, both from the lack of reps and the concussion. And the track record of starting slow too many times this year. Question is what are they gonna do now?

Huh? Rust occurs on passes/timing, not on decisions. His decisions have been bad.

Brown might be injured and a decoy today - he was banged up at practice all week

Rust is mental too. And practice can't simulate the speed of game decisions. But it also looks like the same Eagles passing offense they had most of the year. While still winning. Then as now we know it has to be better, just hopefully not in this game (i.e. they can still respond to this likely GB score and get it done).

Hard to criticize Burks because he caused the opening kickoff fumble, but he has been awful in the middle of the defense. I have seen 5 missed tackles without even looking.

The bad tackling bothered me more than how Hurts played.

Tremendous content though.

Hurts didn’t create great stats, but he made a few plays and more importantly didn’t lose the game. The Packers tried to make plays and lost by throwing deep into coverage.

I saw 1 bad pass from Hurts that bounced at I think Goedert’s feet. He didn’t force the ball like Love did.

There were some give up play calls (3rd and long) where Sirianni / Play Calling just said punt and play defense. This is much better than earlier in the season when we had so many turnovers in these situations.

Remember, Green Bay has a top 5 defense also. We didn’t let their defense make the plays to swing the game back their way. Looked ugly, but that was smart football to me.

That book is going to br a bestseller tomorrow.
