First stab at this. Envy the guys who have a WR drop down to them. Not me, so I traded down once but then probably choked b/c I didn't like the trades that were offered at #28 and decided just to go with Queen, who I like. From there a number things fell into place. Having a shot at Helaire at late Round 3 was a plus as I really don't like Dillon or McFarland. I also like Peart having watched him the last 4 years -- he reminds me a lot of former UConn T Warren Beatty although I think Peart will slip into OG.
Like getting KJ Hill mid-4th, hard not to respect his production at OSU and their track record with WR. Good slot receiver for many years I think. Also think Khalil Davis in the 6th is a gamble pick -- 2nd round talent who seemed to be a bit too comfortable underperforming in what has become an underperformer's paradise in Lincoln. Kid is a squat 320, benches 32 reps and runs a 4.75. Maybe hanging around a good group of DT "men" might light a fire. And finishing up with Robert Windsor is a personal fave. Love the motor and attitude. I doubt he can stick at DT though, so we use him for a couple years on special teams -- and maybe make a switch to OC? He reminds me a bit of Kelce -- runs all day, seems to play angles well and is pretty strong for a kid with a narrow set of shoulders.
