I hope I'm wrong, but don't expect a lot of improvement from Joseph. I don't think he's our 1B next season. With his replacement clearly ready for promotion, how long do you stick with a negative WAR player. Even if he upped his OPS to .800 he would be subpar. The happy talk is about how good he has been post-April. May and July were very good; June was not good and he is currently in at least a brief slump.
