I think some patience is in order, we have a lot of young bats that need a little time.
Moniak is 19 in Lakewood, Randolph is 20 in Clearwater, Ortiz is 18 in Williamsport, Haseley is in his college year adjusting to wood bats.
We knew Cozens was a mirage, he struggled on the road and against LH pitching in Reading, so those inflated home park numbers were never real. He'll need another year in AAA to try and learn how to hit. Plate discipline was always going to be Alfaro's achilles heel.
On the other hand Kingery shows no sign of slowing down, Wiliams has developed nicely (still needs a lot of work but holding his own), Crawford looks like he's turning it around, Tocci has stayed above .300 at age 22 in Reading, Tromp is a surprise, etc.
The difference lately is we have a lot more prospects with real talent who can disappoint.
