This worry about Crawford is so much balderdash to me. Anyone who ever played baseball and had REAL aspirations of making it to the major leagues can probably figure this out quite easily.
Crawford is thisclose to getting to the big leagues, something he has probably dreamed about since he was about 8-9 years of age. He realizes his performance will dictate just when/if this happens and he is probably pressing right now, trying to make up with one swing what his early struggles have done to put him in a hole.
Another thing to realize that last year was probably the first time in Crawfords baseball career where he actually struggled and frankly, he handled it like most of us would...with a sense of some bewilderment, some bravado, some doubt and a whole lot of mental stress that Nick Williams also went through last year.
Crawford is a born to play baseball player and born to play baseball players usually eventually figure it out and simply play...and play well.
I am long past worrying about a 22 year old who is struggling early on in Triple A ball. I assume he will be just fine sooner or later.
