I think Odubel is reaching a key point in his career path.
Franco had hit the wall last year, and finally started responding to coaching, and it has paid off the last few months, he's being more patient, taking outside pitches to RF, not widely swinging and opening up. His fielding has improved, though his consistency leaves something to be desired.
Odubel is in a similar place, his swing has too many moving parts, and when he gets out of synch, he's lost. I think he needs to commit this offseason to refining his swing, making it more compact, and his approach, maintain plate discipline and hit to all fields. He does this for stretches, like earlier this year, then goes completely south.
In two years Haseley, Moniak, Quinn staying healthy, Bohm moving to LF, a FA?, and Herrera will be gone if he doesn't turn it around next season.
