You do realize that Crawford was out with a groin injury in June and the first 10 games of the month was him playing with that injury. Far be it for you to cherry-pick SSS data to make a point that is not really true.
Crawford has been over 750 OPS since the beginning of May. Normalize his BABIP and his whole season is close to 750 OPS. Since May 1 he also has more BBs than Ks.
He also put together a .367 OBP in AA at age 20 and 21. So your statement that he hasn't hit in AA is not even remotely true.
There are legitimate criticism of Crawford. Clearly he had issues to work on with his swing. He did not have much power (though that could easily be him being pushed to levels at a very young age). He was never supposed to have more than 50 power, so what he has done this year might actually be important in him learning how to translate his physical ability into consistent 15 HR per season power.
Then you claim Galvis is the best thing ever when he has a career-best 719 OPS (with low OBP) and then say that Crawford might be OK if he has a 770 OPS with a strong 350 OBP. What you don't get is that if Crawford is a plus fielding SS he is more valuable than Galvis with a 670 OPS than Galvis is at 719 and 670 is a pretty low bar for him to cross.
They should trade Galvis now and get a rental till Crawford comes up for a September audition assuming the rest of Crawford's year goes OK.
