Game 1 summary from Pawtucket:
Pivetta looked good although I don't think he was dominant. Even though he pitched a (seven inning) shutout, several balls hit hard off him. The PawSox lineup is devoid of prospects and full of "I remember this guy" types (Dominguez, Craig, Castillo, etc.).
Quinn misplayed two balls, one a triple and one that he awkwardly caught. I saw him misplay a couple of balls during spring training as well. He is not yet a smooth outfielder.
Williams hustled to second when the RF bobbled his single. Good for him.
Crawford is definitely major league ready in the field but looks lost at the plate. Especially given that he was facing the shadow of what used to be Kyle Kendrick.
My opinion: Having a between innings game where kids toss inflatable tires on a windy day is not entertaining
