Let the Rafael Lantigua era begin! I guess they have the luxury of easing off the pedal in this series - lose today and it is still a 6 1/2 game lead with the tiebreaker. But so close to Milwaukee now. And they still don't really have a bench. Bader and Wilson and Kemp all probably have to play against lefty starter, which leaves no one to play 1B if they wanted to give Bryce a day (or have him DH). They could DH Nick to give Schwarber a day but then one for the LHB OFs has to play. And I doubt Schwarbs is getting a day off until he truly has no chance to catch Howard.

Of course, but he's probably still playing 2B. Unless Stott and Lantigua both play. Can't imagine they want Walton against a LHP.

And Kemp has to play 3B so Marsh or Kepler still have to play one OF spot too.

Stubbs can play 2B! 1B too probably. But he's also LHB.

I think they are fine getting Stott (and Marsh) more ABs against LHP the next couple of weeks. And Lantigua probably does get a start somewhere anyway. Call it a reward for cross country flights. Bohm can come back in the AZ series and is traveling with the team so his callup was just temporary anyway.

They might still send Walton back for Bohm, then Lantigua for Sosa.
