Nola pitches a solid 7 innings today, but the Phillies offense just not there as yet. Walking the pinch hitter with two out ends up costing Nola and he is now on the hook for a loss. The runner had stolen second prior to the double, so he scored easily. Ball hit on the inside edge of the warning track, placed between Kim and Herrera.

Pinch running for Rupp would be an option but holding him at third would have put runners second and third with no outs. I guess a fast runner would have scored. Rupp looked like he was laboring rounding third.
