The last time the Phillies were swept at Citi Field, they won the next 5 series in a row. They did lose the very next game, though, to drop to 13-13.

And after that awful Houston sweep (perhaps not worse than this one because the pitching was better but offense even weaker) they went to Atlanta and won 13-0 and went 6-3 with series wins over the Braves, Padres and Reds. When Milwaukee swept them at home that was was a lower point, as they'd lost four in a row and then went on the road trip where they lost the series to Toronto and got swept in Pittsburgh. They were 4.5 games out of first place then.

What concerns me is how badly they were dominated in 2 of the 3 games.

Could there be some sign stealing going on? They rocked every pitcher we put out there. Heck, Bret Baty put his career on a Hapl of Fame track.

They are clearly concerned about sign stealing and tipping, but that's true all the time. But Sanchez pitched three no-hit innings before they got to him. And they probably didn't need to cheat to light up Romano.

We seem to have some guys who struggle to pitch with men on base.

Also didn't they either hit or allow a key hit to the #9-hitting catcher twice?

The 2007 Mets won 9 of 10 after that legendary 4 game sweep at CBP. It was their 6-12 finish that doomed them for good. Let's do a version of that first one and skip the second bit.
