How does a mediocre left-handed relief pitcher give up 4 runs in an inning and then get sent out to start the next inning by his manager? We are not going to fire him for that, but I'd be making a list of stuff like that. I know we need to add a second LHP to the bullpen, but sometimes a pitcher just does not have it and you need to try to win a game in the 5th or 6th inning rather than let it get out of hand.
