We did lose the parts of our lineup that actually swing the bats more aggressively and get hits (Segura, Kingery, Herrera). The rest of the lineup takes pitches and tries to get walks. While this is a good strategy for most hitters, that 3-outcome baseball when you don't hit home runs could easily be seen as lethargic.
Quinn was supposed to help but he is not ready. They brought him up too early, thinking defense in Colorado was more important than a kid getting most of the at bats he missed in Spring Training.
I might shake up the lineup for a few games. Do something like lead off Harper to set a tone. Get Williams in the lineup. Use Quinn as a pinch runner to disrupt things. This is a good team. They do not need wholesale changes and most teams have a similar level of injuries.
