It sucks to lose, but honestly the last month has been so much fun, so many great moments, inexplicable events. I hope we dont forget about how great it was all throughout.
It was a great run. Wait till next year !!!!
Im happy for Dusty Baker

Great season. It’s a shame our hitting kind of fell apart these last three games (and Houston is just that good pitching wise).Obviously a step forward this year. Next step is really building the pitching depth and trying to figure out how to improve the defense which will be hard.
Regardless I am proud of this team. Astros just had a little more pitching and defense, but I think we did pretty well in those two areas. We were just shut down since game 3. Thanks all for great commentary
It was a crazy season and a heckuva run. Well, after June 3 anyway.
Hey we're not drafting last!
That's all she wrote. Heck of a run for these 2022 Phillies. I didn't think they were very good and weren't good enough to make the Postseason. But they did and they kept playing with house money until they ran into a massively better Astros team but they made the Astros work for their title. Thanks for the ride!
The Phillies go deeper into the post season than anyone expected. Great finish to 2022 that falls just a little short of a World Series championship.
I celebrate the post season success and look forward to the off season march to spring training 2023.
Still can't believe they got no-hit at home when they were up 2-1. They could have just as easily been swept without the Game 1 comeback, but it was all right there after Game 3.
If you don’t actually win the World Series does it go back to where you were record wise during the regular season?
I thought we had a good chance to win with Wheeler. He was about as good as I hoped but hitting came up short again. Still, a very enjoyable post-season and a very good season. I feel that the Phillies organization may have turned a corner this season.
It was fun while it lasted, sucks to lose after going this far but let's be honest, I don't think with the way this team played in Sept that we were expecting a WS title anyway. The fact they got here and made it interesting does hurt as the opportunity for us to win was there just couldn't get the big hits when we needed them most.
Alas no. Though there's a lot of changes to the draft this year that still don't affect the Phillies (lottery for non-playoff teams, revenue-sharing status can determine order for other playoff teams).
