Watson and Pickett are examples of how deep this farm system has become..
We have starting pitchers at AAA who've "graduated" but there's no room on the ML team, Thompson, Eflin, maybe Morgan
I had Pullin at 38, Brito 44, Watson 45, Pickett 72 in my December list.
Used to be the system ran out of legitimate prospects in the 20s, and the guys in the 40s were marginal AAA prospects.
Now there are guys in the 50s and 60s who could emerge this season and jump up 20 or 30 slots.
While it's nice to have "names" at the top, given the uncertainty of player development, it's also nice to have a lot of solid lottery tickets.
