I don't think Klentak is in a hurry, but starting this winter, he has to listen to all serious offers, because from December to July, he will have to make some tough choices.
By July, Crawford and Kingery are a good shot to be starting at SS and 2B, unless Crawford and Kingery replace Franco at 3B. Quinn might come up out of a crowded Lehigh OF (Quinn, Tocci, Tromp, Cozens, Pullin).
They're going to have 12 SPs between Philly and Lehigh (Nola, Eickhoff, Lively, Thompson, Valesquez, Leiter, PIvetta, Eflin, Anderson, Eshelman, Tavares) BEFORE they sign a FA starting pitcher. So it's a good bet 1 or 2 are included in trades.
They'll have 3 catchers, and they might want to bring in a veteran for the young pitching staff.
Joseph is superfulous.
So some deals are almost inevitable. Who and when is the question, and that probably depends both on player performance and offers that are made.
